Dr. Somenath Gorain is a highly skilled Paediatrician and Paediatric Intensivist with extensive experience in critical care, newborn care , vaccination and Paediatric infectious diseases and general paediatrics. With over 15 years of clinical practice, he currently leads the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Neotia Bhagirathi Women & Child Care Centre, New Town, while also serving as Academic Head and DNB Thesis Guide.
He is known for his expertise in managing complex paediatric emergencies, post-operative cardiac and neurosurgical cases, and neonatal critical care. His clinical leadership is complemented by a strong academic and research background with multiple national presentations and international publications.
